Founded in 2014 as a SF-LBE, R&S started as a General Contractor (A and B licenses) but has quickly morphed into a full-service firm specializing in medium to large-scale concrete construction projects, including Streetscape Renovations, Parks and Public Space Improvements, and Water and Wastewater Infrastructure.
R&S, based in San Francisco Bayview District, is committed to servicing the city’s rapidly aging and expanding infrastructure initiatives and streetscape systems. The firm’s owner, Matthew Ramirez, has over 20 years of project and construction management on large scale and complex public infrastructure projects.
Since 2014, R&S has built an impressive list of completed work on numerous public sector client projects. Project scope and responsibility range
from serving as General Contractor (Prime) to performing work as a subcontractor. In addition to its public work, R&S has also completed
numerous private sector projects have included restaurant renovation work, soft story retrofit, and sidewalk renovation.
